Celebrating 14 Years of Help, Hope & Healing!

Emmanuel Arms was the heart of Associate Pastor, Johnnie Hubbard before it came to be, for many years.

In 2009, our church was blessed to obtain a 501(c)3 to bring the idea of Emmanuel Arms Community, Inc. to life. Prior to receiving it, we would pick up food from different programs and deliver it to families in need. We are grateful that we've been able to partner with the Contra Costa County Food Bank to continue to provide groceries, fruits and vegetables to families within our community. Members like Minister Connie Pendleton and Minister Kim Johnson were integral to the success of the program by helping to organize it from its early inception.

By partnering with the Contra Costa Food Bank, we are able to provide free food every Monday along with fruits and vegetables, every 2nd & 4th Tuesday. Over the last couple of years, we've been able to expand our program to also include showers for the homeless on Mondays and laundry assistance which can be easily accessed by appointment.

We thank God for all that we've been able to do and are still looking to do even more in the years to come!
